Morris Moves & Folk Grooves

A lively folk session where you’ll learn one or two Morris tunes and then try the Morris dances that go with them! Hosted by The Ashford Folk Group at our usual venue, The Elwick Club in Ashford.

This two‑hour session will be led by Clare Hay, a well‑known local ceilidh caller and fiddle player. It’s designed for all abilities — whether you play an instrument, love to dance, or simply enjoy giving something new a go. Young or young at heart, everyone is welcome.

It will be an event full of rhythm, tradition, and community spirit!  All dancing equipment will be provided, comfortable shoes are must.

Bring along your instrument so you can join in. Places are limited due to the size of the venue and tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis and make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.
